My practice focuses on stockholder litigation involving mergers and acquisitions, fiduciary duties, corporate governance, and the federal securities laws. I have litigated complex cases in state and federal courts across the country.
I began my career at a small litigation firm, where I was given substantial responsibility from the outset and handled a broad range of civil and criminal matters. Shortly after being admitted to practice, I first-chaired a partnership dispute through trial. I went on to handle commercial disputes involving financial institutions and investment products, as well as a successful criminal appeal. That early experience gave me a broad foundation in trial and appellate litigation before I moved to the plaintiffs’ bar and began focusing on stockholder litigation.
Since then, I have spent most of my career representing stockholders in complex corporate and securities matters, eventually becoming a partner before co-founding Julie & Holleman with Doug Julie in 2022.
That broad litigation background continues to shape how I approach stockholder cases today. I focus early on how a case will actually be proved—not simply whether a potential claim can be pleaded—and on keeping the litigation directed toward the issues most likely to matter to the ultimate result.
